About
The CHIME/FRB
collaboration.
CHIME/FRB is the fast radio burst project of the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (opens in a new tab) (CHIME), a radio telescope at the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory near Penticton, British Columbia. Its four cylindrical reflectors watch a wide strip of the northern sky as the Earth turns, while software searches the incoming signal for fast radio bursts in real time.
This site provides the collaboration’s published catalogs of fast radio bursts for research and public use.
The collaboration
The people behind the science
The collaboration brings together astronomers, engineers and students from the member institutions listed below. Together they built and run CHIME’s real-time search for fast radio bursts, and publish the data on this site.
